Bathtubs made of steel are popular due to their light weight and low price. True, this applies for the most part only to enameled steel bathtubs. Previously, mainly kitchen sinks were made from stainless steel. They have excellent performance characteristics, so this material was not abandoned even with the advent of new, more modern analogues.
